"I purchased the Marcos from Jem Marsh in Warminster, Wiltshire. It was a terrible beige colour so I resprayed it chrome yellow, a very popular colour for a Marcos at that time."

All was good except for a "brake imbalance" (actually a leaking cylinder). With a trip to New Zealand in January the next appointment was not arranged until 19 March 2005.
